rthodentie
Brackets"

Perhaps the most significant cosmetic advance in orthodontics over the pa
decades Involves bonding brackets directly onto patients' teeth. Brackets are
the tiny devices that are used to attach the main arch wire to the teeth, in the
past, individual stainless steel bands were wrapped around and cemented to
each tooth. This Is now reserved for the bock teeth, and now people can avoid
the In grin. - The front teeth are treated with tiny brackets, which can even be
blended in with the natural tooth color. Some orthodontists utilize very small
brackets, which are even more cosmetic, and allow for lighter forces and a'
. more comfortable orthodontic experience.

newest state-of-
the-art facility in

The new bracketing system can make placement of the orthodoittk applia
quicker and more comfortable. Some brackets even come with the adhesive
already placed so previous long appointments are even shortened. Additionally,
some orthodontists use a specialized light to harden the adhesive so time in the
chair waiting is reduced further, adding to the patient's comfort level.

For many placing the appliance can be made fun with different color rings
hold the wire to the bracket. These colors are changed each month to make -
orthodontics fun! We have over 70 colors in my office to choose from, including
glow in the dark. Colors can even make a fashion statement, as many people
choose according to the holidays, such as orange for Halloween, green and red
for Christmas, red white and blue for patriotism, or even matching an outfit for a&
special occasion, etc. You are only limited by your imagination.

To find out more information, Just call our office at 248-926-4100 or schedule a
complimentary consultation at 2300 Haggerty Road, Suite 1160, on the border of
