and Celia Raimi of Franklin. Her late
grandparents are Sol and Jeanette
Rubin.
Rose is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her most mean-
ingful mitzvah project was working
at and donating food for Yad Ezra in
Berkley.

as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Nov. 10, at

Seid
Moshe in West
Bloomfield. Sharing
in this simchah will be his proud
parents, Michelle and Jerome Seid,
and his sisters Sara and Thea. Jacob
is the grandson of Richard Seid and
Aleksandra Wilanowski, Ellen Mauss,
the late Saralee and the late Sheldon
Bross.
Jacob attends seventh grade at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. His mitzvah projects
included the Dor nor project at the
Fleischman Center in West Bloomfield.

Samuel Hayman
Sklar will celebrate
his bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Nov. 10
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Sharing
in his simchah will
his parents, Valerie
and James Sklar, and
his sister Sophie. Also participating in
the service will be his grandparents
Linda and Stephen Hayman and Irene
Sklar. He is also the grandson of the
late Donald Sklar.
Sam is a seventh-grade student
at Cranbrook Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. For his mitzvah
project, he raised money for the Jewish
National Fund through the religious
school and a Tu b'Shevat bingo event.

Daniel Jacob
Waldhorn, son of
Kenneth Waldhorn
and Beverly Becker,
will lead the congre-
gation in prayer on
Saturday, Nov. 10, at
Temple Emanu-El
Waldhorn
in Oak Park as he
celebrates his bar
mitzvah. Sharing in this special day
will be his sister Alyse as well as proud
grandmother Eve Becker. He is also
the grandson of the late Leon Becker
and the late Bertha and the late Harold
Waldhorn.
Daniel is an eighth-grade student
at Norup International School in Oak
Park. He felt his most meaningful
mitzvah project was participating in
the local Race for the Cure to fight
breast cancer by volunteering his time
over the week of the race.

Barry Craig Zeltzer
will become a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
Nov. 10, at Temple
Kol Ami in West
Bloomfield. He is

Susan Zeltzer and
Zeltzer
the brother of Stuart
and Paul. He is the
grandson of George M. and the late
Pearl Zeltzer, Bernie Cohen and the
late Gig Cohen.
Barry is a student in the seventh
grade at Dunckel Middle School in
Farmington Hills. His mitzvah activi-
ties included Housing the Homeless at
Temple Kol Ami.
