He is also the grandchild of the late Dr.
Nelson Sklar.
Eric attends West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. He felt his participation
watching sporting events with residents at
Regent Street, a local home for the elderly,
was a significant mitzvah project.

mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 13, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue in
Farmington Hills. She

Her grandparents
are Minnette Diamond of Cupertino,
Calif., and Annie and Ron Lowy of West
Bloomfield. She is also the great-grand-
daughter of Gertrude Langfelder of
Belmont, Calif.
Abbie is a seventh-grader at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. For her mitzvah project,
she raised money and collected school
supplies for the Children's Center in
Detroit; she is also donating the over 200
books used as centerpieces at her simchah
to the Children's Center library.

Rebecca is a student at Orchard Lake

felt her most meaningful mitzvah project
was raising funds, which were donated to
Children's Hospital of Michigan.

on Saturday, Nov. 10. He

and Ronald Boorstein of Highland Park,
Ill.
A student at Derby Middle School in
Birmingham, Adam chose a mitzvah
project that included volunteering for Old
Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit,
packing and distributing holiday packages
and participating in the annual sales day
for the past five years.

Gideon Ezra Levinson

be called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills on
Saturday, Nov. 10. Joining
Levinson
in the ceremony will be
his parents, Marty and
Elise, and brothers Josh, Simon and Noah.
He is the grandson of the late Sam and the
late Anna Chapin, the late Louie and the
late Rosa Levinson.
Gideon is an eighth-grade student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. His mitzvah projects
included running a garage sale that raised
money for Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Bradley attends Berkshire Middle

ingful mitzvah project was organizing
a basketball fundraiser which raised a
significant amount of money for Challenge

Jacob attends Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake. He felt it was espe-
cially meaningful to conduct a neighbor-
hood drive to collect donations for the
Humane Society.
