25, at Congregation
Beth Ahm in West
Bloomfield. He is
the son of Lori and
Nusbaum
Robert Nusbaum and
brother of Zachary
and Bradley. His proud grandparents
are Barbara and Irving Nusbaum,
Carole Sher and Charles Sher.
Jonathan is a student at Berkshire
Middle School in Birmingham.

Alyssa Rachel
Stone, daughter
of Ilene and Gary
Stone, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Sept. 1, at
Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield.

She is the sister of
Brandon. Her excited
grandparents are Soralee and Gerald
Broida and Zelda and Gerald Stone
and her great-grandfather is Bert
Cohen. She is also the great-grand-
child of the late Kate Cohen, the late
Molly and the late George Goldstein,
the late Albert Gershenzon, the late
Pearl and the late Sidney Broida, the
late Frances and the late Harry Stone.
Alyssa is a student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield.
She felt her most meaningful mitzvah
project was creating over 150 packets
of coloring books, crayons, and stuffed
animals and donating them to the
Karmanos Cancer Center, Detroit.

Jessica and Samantha are also the
granddaughters of the late Jack Reznik.
Jessica and Samantha are students
at Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Their mitzvah projects
include a swim-a-thon for Muscular
Dystrophy and volunteer work at the
Fleishman Residence, West Bloomfield.

the late Marilou Berman.
Eli is a student at Birmingham
Covington School. For his mitzvah
experience, he shared his love of
camping and reading with other chil-
dren as a volunteer with JARC-Bear
Hug Foundation's session at Camp
Tanuga for children with disabilities.

Sharon Zabel. He is also the grand-
child of the late Herbert Zabel.
Justin attends Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield. He felt volunteer-
ing at the Elizabeth Lake Animal
Rescue Shelter was a very meaningful
mitzvah project.
