ROSE
SIROTKIN
AGINS, 93, of
West Bloomfield,
died June 29,
2007.
She worked
side-by-side
with
Agins
her husband,
Gene, in their
insurance agency for 50 years. While
actively managing the business, she
was also involved in her children's
Scouting activities and in fundrais-
ing for UNICEF and the Women's
Section of the Democratic Party.
Mrs. Agins is survived by her
husband of 64 years, Gene; daugh-
ter, Ruth; son and daughter-in-law,
Bruce and Rena; sister, Mary Lewis;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul
and Mildred, Jack and Shirley; sis-
ter-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce
and Alvin Kurz; grandchildren,
Tonya, Jonathan, Noah, Tamara;
three great-grandchildren; many
loving nieces and nephews.

ALFRED
BROOKS, 92, of
West Bloomfield,
died June 30,
2007.
He was the
special dad of
Dennis Brooks of
Brooks
Farmington Hills,
Sharon and Bob
Rudin of Farmington Hills, Debbie
and Jeff Chutz of Bloomfield Hills;
proud papa of Michael (Missy)
Rudin, Lisa (Dr. Ken) McCurry,
Steven Rudin, Dana (Michael)
Reinglass, Ben, Zack and Evie
Chutz; loving great-papa of Jack
and Sam Rudin, Jacob, Ryan, Grant
and Caitlin McCurry; dear brother
of Frances Miller.
He was also loved by devoted
nieces and nephews; St. John's and
Jewish Hospice staff; patient advo-
cate, Cheryl; aides, staff and friends
at the Fleishman Residence.
Mr. Brooks was the beloved hus-
band for 63 years of the late Pearl
Brooks; father of the late Lynda
Brooks; brother of nine late siblings
and their spouses.
Interment at the Hebrew
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Contributions may be made
to a charity of one's choice.
