ADOLF GASTMAN, 97, of Fresh
Meadows, N.Y., died May 17, 2007.
He is a survivor of Eastern
European Pogroms. He was also a
great supporter and follower of Ze'ev
Jabotinsky and participated actively in
assisting Jewish survivors during and
after the Holocaust.
Mr. Gastman was a member of
the Nathan Hale Lodge, Bialystoker
Synagogue in New York City and the
Radomer Society. After only complet-
ing three years of school, he empha-
sized education to all around him.
He is survived by his wife, Susan
Gastman; children, Dr. Irvin and Edi
Gastman of Bloomfield
Hills, Norman and Rosalie
Gastman of Florida; step-
children, Dr. Kent and Jane
Stahl, Dr. Gary and Debbie
Stahl; grandchildren,
Michelle and Andrew

HARRIET GLICKMAN, 90, of
Southfield, died June 3, 2007.
She is survived by her daugh-
ters and son-in-law, Jan and Larry
Freedman of Bingham Farms,

dren, Robin and Robert Bologna, Gina
and Kenny Walters; great-grandchil-

Mrs. Glickman was the beloved wife
of the late Philip Glickman; loving
grandmother of the late Jill Freedman.
