100, of West
Bloomfield, died
June 9, 2007.
She was a
teacher and the
first principal
of Hillel Day
Floch
School. She also
taught elemen-
tary education in Detroit public
schools, taught at United Hebrew
Schools, was a lifelong mem-
ber at Hadassah, a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
and was a co-chair at Oneg
Shabbat Committee at Hechtman
Apartments.
Mrs. Floch is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Dr.
Laya and Dr. Raymond Kesner
of Utah, Jeanie and Dr. Harry
Tabor of Franklin; grandchildren,
Deborah and Joshua Steinberg,
Benjamin Kesner, Dr. Mark and Dr.
Catherine Tabor, Jonathan Tabor;
great-grandsons, Ari and Avi
Steinberg.
She was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Maurice Floch; loving
sister of the late Elkan Buchhalter,
the late Ezra Buchhalter, the late
Asher Buchhalter; dear sister-in-
law of the late Rose Buchhalter.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Hadassah or to a charity
of one's choice. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.
