style sense: summer necessities
T2T staff photo by Morgan Pomish
Summer. Finally. Is your wardrobe ready? Here are a few necessities to help you survive.
These cuts from the 1960s and '70s are back — and they're very cute, girly and
flowing, all with a high waistline. Pair with shorts, leggings or capris.
Floral Prints: Big flowers, little flowers, bright colors and light colors give any sort of shirt or
dress a fun summer look.

guys. Girls, you can stick to the cut that looks best on you, but this summer,
one-pieces with an open side and back are in!
Flip-Flops and Sandals: What better shoe for the summer? Wedges are HOT
this summer — expect to see them all over.
Long Look: Check out longer cuts for tops and bottoms — Bermuda shorts
are cool paired with long tank tops. Look for long plaid shorts for boys.

Surelasses: A great way to show off your individuality. Try the new bug sunglasses (big white
round ones) or go with what looks best on your face.
Swimwear: Expect bright colors, bold prints and fun designs. Long, baggy swim shorts for
