n honor of National Volunteer Week, Jewish Home and Aging Services hosted its annual Volunteer
Recognition Party at the Fleischman Residence-Blumberg Plaza on April 19. Two-hundred commu-
nity volunteers attended an awards presentation, a Fairy Tale Feast and a Magical Musical Revue.
Recipients of volunteer awards included: Volunteer of the Year, Rudy Kosurkin; Auxilian of the Year, Julie
Ritten; Community Volunteer Group of the Year, Drs. Morrie Dubin and Bernard Maness; Youth Group of
the Year, Adat Shalom Synagogue's Eighth-Grade Spark Program; Young Adult of the Year, Kenny Weiss;
Harris Guardianship Program Volunteer of the Year, Raiselle Snow; Jewish Community Parachaplain of
the Year, Ray Greene; Jewish Community Chaplaincy Program Volunteers of the Year, the Friendship Circle;
Program for Holocaust Survivors and Families Volunteer of the Year, Charles Domstein; Dorothy and
Peter Brown Center Volunteer of the Year, Gladys Barr; Dorothy and Peter Brown Memory Care Pavilion
Volunteer of the Year, Adele Bayer; Religious Volunteer of the Year, Sidney Lerman; Youth Volunteer of the
