CYNTHIA SUNSHINE SHAPIRO,
86, of Tinton Falls, N.J., died Jan. 6, 2007.
Born in Philadelphia, she lived in
Seabrook Village for the last five years,
previously in Shadow Lake and Little
Silver. She was a member of Congregation
B'nai Israel of Rumson and its sisterhood
and she served as chairperson of the edu-
cation committee. She was also a member
of Hadassah, the National Council of
Jewish Women and B'nai B'rith.
Mrs. Shapiro volunteered at the Red
Bank Lunch Break, the Monmouth
County Blood Bank and Riverview
Hospital. She also served as a comptrol-
ler at Ft. Monmouth, where she was the
civil service representative for the Equal
Opportunity Bowl. She was a former
owner of Sharp Tire Co. in Red Bank.
Mrs. Shapiro is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Meredith and
Isadore Lurman of New Jersey, Pam and
Larry Salba of Farmington Hills; sister,
Gloria Rubin; sisters-in-law and broth-
ers-in-law, Ruth and Jack Stein, Shirley
Shapiro Nathanson, Ruth and Dr. Arthur

cist and a member of
Rho Pi Phi pharmacy
fraternity. He was also

Veterans and was a Mason.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife,
Roslyn Tucker; daughters and sons-in-
law, Dr. Linda Tucker Roberts and Joseph
Roberts of West Bloomfield, Marlene and
Dr. Harold Margolis of West Bloomfield,
Aleen Tucker of White Lake; grandchil-
dren, Kelly and Andrew Coalson, Melissa
and Joshua Roberts, Rachel and David
Margolis, Jeremy, Zachary and Daniel
Gladstone; mother, Edith Tucker; sister
and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Eugene
Glaser of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law,
Marilyn Stone. He was the beloved son of
the late Herman Tucker; dear brother-in-
law of the late Jack Stone.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

Multiple Sclerosis Society or Beaumont
