CAROLE STEARN, 68, of West
Bloomfield, died Dec. 26, 2006.
She is survived by her beloved husband,
Steven Steam; son and daughter-in-law, Scott
and Michelle Kavieff of San Diego, Calif.;
daughter, Krysten Alexander of Ferndale;
brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Terry
Koorhan; sister and brother-in-law, Louise
and John Toye of Florida; grandchildren,
Taylor Kavieff and Sydney Kavieff; mother-
in-law, Bertha Steam; many other loving

family members, friends and co-workers.
She was the dear daughter-in-law of the late
Milton Stearn.
Contributions may be made to the Susan
G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

beloved wife of the late Morris Tobocman.

HARVEY LAWRENCE TOWLEN,
79, former Detroiter of Gainesville, Fla.,
died Dec. 22, 2006. He served in the Navy
during World War II and earned a degree
in pharmacy from Wayne State University.
He practiced pharmacy over 35 years.
Mr. Towlen is survived by his wife,
Theresia of Gainesville; children, Barbara
(Richard) Ulbrich, Suzan Towlen, Karen
(Rick Campbell) Lohbeck, Keith Towlen,
all of California; grandchildren, Amanda
Ulbrich and Ethan Guggenheimer; sis-
ters, Geraldine Weingarden of Southfield,
Adele (Irving) Steinberg of Farmington
Hills. He was the brother of the late Elaine
Connie Lovinger.
Interment in Flordia. Contributions
may be made to the Parkinson
Foundation.
