STERN, of West
Bloomfield, died
Nov. 14, 2006. She
was a bookkeeper
for Meer Dental
Supply for more
than 30 years. She
Stern
had a beautiful
singing voice and could play piano
by ear.
Mrs. Stern graduated from
Northern High School and
twice won the Forward Beauty
Contest. She was also a member
of B'rith B'rith Business and
Professional Group, Detroit
Socialites and Rose Sherer
Socialites as well as belonging to
a mahj club, which met for more
than 63 years.
Mrs. Stern is survived by her
daughter and son-in-law, Eleanore
and William Kaye; son, Jerry Stern
and fiancee, Linda Remson; grand-
children, Jacqueline and Henry
Gretzinger, Jill Stern, Jordan Stem,
Michael and kit Kaye, David Kaye;
great-grandchildren, Amanda June
Gretzinger, Sean Chapple Gretzinger,
Geena Maree Stern and Elijah
Mordecai Kaye; sister, Madeline
Bleier.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Morris Stern; loving sister of the late
Libby Konikow and the late Pauline
Schwartz; dear sister-in-law of the
late Samuel Bleier, the late Garson
Konikow and the late Emanuel
Schwartz.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the
American Lung Association or to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

She is survived by her daughters

Melbourne; sisters and brothers-in
law, Ursula and Keith Steinhardt of
Melbourne, Helga Kay of Farmington
Hills; four grandchildren; cousins,
nieces and nephews from Australia,

Hills and Michael and Sonya Kay of
West Bloomfield.
She was the loving wife of the late
Ernest Thompson; sister of the late
