LEON MALOFF, 84, of Oak Park,
died Oct. 15, 2006.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Florence "Flossie" Maloff; sons
and daughters-in-law, Howard and
Sherry Maloff of Oak Park, Larry
and Michele Maloff of Oak Park;
brother and sister-in-law, Hilbert
and Marlene Maloff of Boynton
Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Stephanie
Kauffman and Ashley Maloff; many
loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends. He was the
dear brother of the late Paul Maloff
and the late Seymour Maloff.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

BRUCE MEYERS, 80, of West
Bloomfield, died Oct. 14, 2006. He
was the owner of Mill Floor Covering.
Mr. Meyers is survived by his
daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and
Gary Beren of Arizona, Nancy Meyers
and Ron Johnson of California;
grandchildren, Jeremy and Tyler
Beren; sisters, Yetta Sattler of Florida
and Mary Radom of Bloomfield Hills.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Phyllis Meyers; dear brother-in-
law of the late Norman Sattler.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

LILLIAN POSNER, of Southfield,
died Oct. 13, 2006. A teacher and
counselor in the Detroit public
school system, she was a member of
the Detroit Federation of Teachers,
National Council of Jewish Women
and Brandeis Book Club.
Ms. Posner is survived by a nephew
and niece, Harold and Sylvia Weingart
of Southfield; great-nieces and great-
nephews, Debbie and David Kolb,
Karen and Leonard Meisel and Lisa
and Dr. Dale Garber. She was the
beloved companion for over 50 years
of the late Maurice Kost.
Interment at Workmen's Circle

She is survived by her daughter

Rudy and Marc Dubowski. She was
the beloved wife of the late Sol Rudy.

GLORIA SHOOK, 92, of
Southfield, died Oct. 13, 2006.
She is survived by her beloved
husband, Ralph Shook of Southfield;

and Patty Shook of West Bloomfield,

Texas; grandchildren, Emily Shook,
Jason Shook and Dr. Ilaina Shook
(Dr. Jim Bob Airhart); great-grand-

others. She was the dear sister of
the late Morris Margolin, the late
Joseph Margolin and the late Hyman
Margolin.

DR. JOSEPH SLUSKY, 93, of
Southfield, died Oct. 14, 2006.
He was a psychoanalyst with offices
in the Fisher Building. He was also
an adjunct professor at Wayne State
University Medical School, a past
president of the Michigan Analytical
Society, chairman of the Department
of Education for Development of
Psychiatric Curriculum, chairman
of public rela-
tions for the
Department of
Psychiatry at
Sinai Hospital
and was awarded
Outstanding
Teacher for psy-
chiatric residents
Slusky
and taught at
Wayne State
School of Social Work.
Dr. Slusky is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law, Barbara
and Stan Bershad of West Bloomfield;
son and daughter-in-law, Howard and
Joan Slusky of Huntington Woods;
grandchildren, Dr. Eric and Suzanne
Bershad, Jeffrey Bershad and fiancee,
