Camp Kadima. We look forward to it from the moment we return from our

annual trip till the next year rolls around. This year we spent 5 glorious days at

Camp Sea Gull. Twenty-one clients and staff had the privilege of spending time

in the outdoors enjoying the waterfront, sports field, craft projects and most of all,

the company of loving friends.

Clients and staff enjoyed some lively baseball and volley ball games. We

had some excellent hitters and some amazing fielding. This year's craft proj-

ects included decorating clay pots and making personalized canvas tote bags.

Clients used their tote bags to bring home some of their shopping treasures from

Charlevoix.
Our campfires are always an important part of our experience and this year

was no exception. In addition to making Some-mores, we also had music at

our bonfires. With Michael Trepeck, our Kadima social worker on guitar, David

Barg on harmonica, and Joel Kaufman on trombone, we all got pleasure from

some great jam sessions.

We had an enjoyable time swimming and canoeing on Lake Charlevoix.

Staff and clients did a speedy rescue when one of the boats tipped over. All the

water-soaked participants had a good laugh, as well as, all of us watching from

shore.
We are indebted to our angels, Steve and Nancy Grand whose generosity

make this trip possible every summer. All in all, it was a terrific experience.
