SALMONS, 75,

of Kentwood,
Mich., died June
28, 2006. He was a
television techni-
cian. Mr. Salmons
was a member of
Salmons
the Beit Kodesh
Synagogue in
Livonia. As a
veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was
a member of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars post #3941 and the Disabled
American Veterans post #114.
Mr. Salmons is survived by his wife
of 55 years, Ilene "Nana" Salmons of
Kentwood; daughters and sons-in-
law, Marilynn and Elliot Sherman of
Redford, Darlene Combs of Kentwood,
Brenda and Robert Hanna of
Caledonia, Mich.; son and daughter-in-
law, Steven and Cori Salmons of Lake
Orion; seven grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren; sister and brother-in-
law, Betty Sue and Buddy Stallings of
Burlington, N.C.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Arthritis Foundation, Michigan
Chapter, 1050 Wilshire Drive, Suite
#302, Troy, MI 48084. Arrangements by
Ira Kaufman Chapel.

HERBERT M.
STOORMAN,

80, of Surprise,
Ariz. (Sun City
Grande), formerly
of Southfield, died
May 29, 2006. He
was a graduate
Stoorman
of Central High
School and Wayne
State University.
Mr. Stoorman was a teacher for 32
years in Redford Township and Oak
Park, serving as the principal of Key
Elementary School in Oak Park for
23 of those years. He also taught in
Arizona for a short time.
Mr. Stoorman was dedicated to
the education of Jewish children and
taught Sunday school at Temple Beth
EI and Temple Israel. He was very
active in the musical community, both
in Michigan and Arizona, performing
on stage in many productions, and
singing in the temple choir.
He is survived by his dear wife
of 54 years, Selma; children, Karen

Roberts of Huntington Woods, Samuel
Stoorman and Patricia Wassik of
Denver, Colo., Sherwin and Muriel
Stoorman of Peoria, Ariz.; grandchil-
dren, Lisa Roberts, Shira Stoorman,
William Stoorman and Sabrina
Stoorman; loving nieces and nephews.
Interment at Sunland Memorial Park
in Sun City, Ariz. Contributions may be
made to the Alzheimer's Association.

REVA ZIEMAN,

96, of West
Bloomfield, died
June 21, 2006
She is survived
by her beloved
husband, Samuel
Zieman; daughter

and son-in-law,
Roslyn and Samuel
Allen Feld of West
Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-law,
Morris and Eva Skolnick of San Diego,
Calif.; grandchildren, Rochelle (David)
Silverman and Jason (Franci) Feld;
great-grandchildren, Danielle, Hannah,
Benjamin and Shlomo. She was the
dear sister of the late Jennie Lipson.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Shul, to the Alzheimer's
Association or to a charity of one's
