The fundraiser will incorporate
the theme of the township's June 25
Orchard Lake Road Car Cruise, which
Brickner started last year. As a pre-
lude to the car cruise, classic cars will
be on display at the country club for
patrons to view. ❑

Both were diagnosed with
brain tumors within months of
one another last year, and they
soon found themselves taking
chemotherapy
together.

The two have collaborated on
"Cruisin' for a Cure 2006," an evening
of dinner and dancing to the People's
Choice Orchestra at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday,
June 20, at Shenandoah Country Club
in West Bloomfield.

"Cruisin for a Cure 2006" begins
at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at
Shenandoah Country Club, 5600 Walnut
Lake Road, West Bloomfield. Tickets are
$100 per person and include cocktails,
dinner, dancing and the classic car
show. Reservations are due June 13.
