He calls the tumor's "total response" to the medication "miraculous." The fundraiser will incorporate the theme of the township's June 25 Orchard Lake Road Car Cruise, which Brickner started last year. As a pre- lude to the car cruise, classic cars will be on display at the country club for patrons to view. ❑ ulie Cash Levin of Farmington Hills and Stuart Brickner of - West Bloomfield, have known each other for 40 years, and they didn't know they had so much in common. Both were diagnosed with brain tumors within months of one another last year, and they soon found themselves taking chemotherapy together. "We put what's left of our brains together and decided to . raise funds for neurologi- cal research;' Levin said. "We wanted to Julie Levin give back and see if research can end this problem." The two have collaborated on "Cruisin' for a Cure 2006," an evening of dinner and dancing to the People's Choice Orchestra at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield.
