ALLAN LAFFER, 88, of Singer
Island, Fla., formerly of Michigan,
died Feb. 1, 2006. A salesman for
Gruen Watch Company, Mr. Laffer
previously owned Delaine Jewelry
in Detroit on Livernois and Gold
Scale Jewelry in Palm Beach, Fla. A
veteran of World War II, he partici-
pated in the European Theater.
He is survived by his wife of 59
years, Virginia Laffer of Singer
Island; sons and daughters-in-law,
Dr. Michael and Kathy Laffer of
West Bloomfield, Dr. Dennis and
Ellen Laffer of Tampla, Fla.; grand-
children, Matthew, Justin, Jenny and
Lauren Laffer; brother and sisters-
in-law, Sam and Evelyn Laffer of
Florida, Marion Curtis of Beverly
Hills, Calif., Dottie Slovan of New
York, Phyllis Laffer of New York.
Interment at Machpelah
