PAMELA MILLER, of Tucson, Ariz.,
and Hartsdale, N.Y., died Feb. 5, 2006.
She was a graduate of Scarsdale High
School and Syracuse University. She
raised champion whippets and a
Rhodesian Ridgeback; her dogs were
awarded with American Kennel Club,
Canadian, Bermuda and U.S. champion
titles. She was a member of the
Greenwich Kennel Club and the
American Whippet Club and a founding
member of the Woodlands Community
Temple in White Plains, N.Y.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her hus-

band, Dr. Irwin miller; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Eric and Andrea Miller of
Marlboro, N.J., Larry and Suzy Miller of
Niskayuna, N.Y.; grandchildren, Shelby,
Nathan, Rebecca; sisters and brothers-
in-law, Susan and Roger Hertzberg of
San Jose, Calif., Gene Schaffer; Linda
and Henry Lee of West Bloomfield;
Bonnie Marash of Vonore, Tenn. She
was the daughter of the late Herman
and the late Sylvia Scvhaffer.
Services were held at Woodlands
Community Temple in White Plains.

Veterinary Medicine, Hungerford, NY

ROSE MILLER, 95, of West
Bloomfield, died Jan. 31, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Lynda and Walter Czeizler
of West Bloomfield, Beverly and Walter
Payne of Jensen Beach, Fla.; son and
daughter-in-law, Donald and Amy
Miller of New Mexico; grandchildren,
Sheri and Chris Cataldo, Julie and
Steve Robinson, Jeffrey and Phyllis
Moran; loving great-grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Milton Miller.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

MARVIN NOVICK, 74, of Oak Park,
died Feb. 5, 2006. He was a CPA with
Deloitte Touche, who retired in 1984.
In 1968, the Oak
Park Jaycees selected
him for inclusion in
Outstanding Young
Men of America. In
addition, he had
served as chief oper-
ating officer for Blue
Novick
Shield of Michigan,
president of the Oak
Park Board of Education, chair of the
Oak Park Millage Committee, vice
president of B'nai B'rith Centennial
Lodge and of Temple Beth El's Married
Group.
As an extremely active member of
the community, Mr. Novick also served
as president of Temple Beth El and
treasurer of its endowment fund. He
had held the office of president of the
Michigan Association of Emotionally
Disturbed Children, chair of the 18th
Congressional District of the
Democratic Party, chairman of the
board of Providence Hospital and
