Looking For Love
Singer Lisa Loeb, 36, was
hot back in the mid-1990s with
her hit song Stay, from the
Gen-X "Rat Pack" movie Reality
Bites (all about love among
people in their mid-20s). -
Loeb offers another bite of
reality TV in a show titled #1
Single, starting on the El cable
network in January. In this one,
Loeb looks for love while her
Jewish morn hocks, the aging
Gen-Xer about having grand-
Children.
E!, in its press release, prom-
ises us these moments:
"Whether in the kitchen cook-
ing up a meal for company, at a
concert entertaining fans or

feigning an injury
to meet a single
doctor, Lisa shows
viewers that it's all
about attitude
when it comes to
being single, suc-
cessful and looking
for love in the 21st
century."
Loeb is a talented musician,
intelligent and proud about
being Jewish — so why is she
living her life on second-tier
cable stations? If she continues
on this way, her 10th TV reality
series, airing in 2035; will be
about her quest for the perfect
Florida retirement condo.
