Blake is a seventh-grader at
Cranbrook Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. His most mean-
ingful mitzvah project involved
making bandanas for the
Humane Society.
Jacob Benjamin Dresser

mitzvah Saturday, Nov. 5, at a

is the son of
Marilyn

Richard
Dresser
Dresser, for-
merly of
Southfield. He is the grandson of
Esther Duchin Dresser of
Farmington Hills, the late Joseph
Benjamin Dresser, the late Belle
Bateman Gordon, the late
Sanford Nathaniel Gordon. His
big sister Samantha and little
brother Mischa will participate
in the service, which will be led
by his uncle, Rabbi Jonathan
Rosenbaum.
Jacob is a student at Saginaw
Arts and Sciences Academy and
Bay County Public School
Academy Middle School. His
mitzvah project is handcrafting
gift items for pediatric cancer
patients at Mott Children's
Hospital in Flint to honor his
brother's five-year remission
anniversary.
Halley Jessica Farber will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitz-
vah Saturday, Nov. 5, at
Congregation Beth Ahm. She is
the daughter of Jill and David
Farber and sister of Amanda and
Justin. Her proud grandparents
are Lois and
Nat Fishman of
West
Bloomfield and
Audrey and Bill
Farber of
Franklin.

Halley attended Hillel Day
