Ambulance Dedicated

A fully equipped basic life support ambulance was donated to the
people of Israel by the local Radomer Aid Society on its 85th

95th Birthday

On Oct. 9, Ben Gurvitz celebrated his 95th birthday at a brunch
with his Temple Israel Minyanaires in West Bloomfield. Gurvitz has
been a daily minyan member and part of the Mishaberach Group
since his wife died seven years ago. Shown with Gurvitz are Rabbis

Helping Kids

Ray and Louise Abrams of Farmington Hills were among the 180
participants when the Giorgio Armani Boutique opened at Saks
Fifth Avenue at the Somerset Collection in Troy. The Sept. 19 event
was a fund-raiser for the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of
Oakland County. Elyse Essick Foltyn of Bifmingham was honorary
chair of the event, which Saks underwrote.
