TEEN MISSION TO ISRAEL

Emily Joy Zussman will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah Friday,
Sept. 16, at Temple Emanu-El. She
is the daughter of
Julie and Rick
Zussman and
younger sister of
Adam and David.
Sharing in the joy
of this special
occasion will be
her grandparents
Lois and Milt
Zussman
Zussman. She is
also the grand-
daughter of the late Mary Evans and
the late Richard Hibbs.
An honor student at Detroit
Country Day School in Beverly
Hills, Emily participated in many
mitzvah projects. She assisted at the
temple's Purim carnival, at open
houses and at an auction fund-raiser
at Country Day. She also volunteers
at Kadima, an organization which
supports the mentally ill. She will
donate a karaoke machine to
Kadima's new Zussman Activity
Center.
