Paul Samuels Lemire will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
Saturday, Aug.
20, at Temple
Beth El. He
will be joined
by his parents,
Denise
Samuels and
Jim Lemire
and sister
Annarose. He
is the grand-
child of Adele
Samuels of
Southfield and
Petrina Lemire of Novi. He is also
the grandson of the late Harold J.
Samuels and the late Edward
Lemire.
Paul is an honor student at
Cranbrook Kingswood Boys Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. His
mitzvah project included growing
his hair for two years to donate to
Locks of Love, volunteering at Yad
Ezra in Berkley and helping to run a
Make-A-Wish workshop for middle
school teens at Cranbrook.

in Birmingham. For his mitzvah
project, he has worked at Hadassah
House in West Bloomfield on their
doll project for area hospitals along-
side his grandmother Mildred. Jake
also made toys for animals at the
Humane Society of Rochester.
