ELINOR S. BENNETT, 82, of
Deerfield Beach, Fla., died Aug. 1,
2005.
She is survived by her daughters
and sons-in-law, Dr. Barbara L.
Davis of Concord Twp., Ohio, Dorri
and David Penny of Tabernash,
Colo.; son, Fred Davis of Salt Lake
City, Utah; stepdaughters and step-
son-in-law, Amy and Mickey
Steinberg former Detroiters of Palm
Beach Gardens, Fla., Lynda
Fallenberg of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12
grandchildren, including Randy and
Tracy Brown, Barry Brown, Steven
and Diane Brown; great-grandchil-
dren. She was the wife of the late
Sanford Bennett.

PEARL BIBER, 91, of Birmingham,
died Aug. 5, 2005. A native
Detroiter, she was active in many
charitable endeavors, including
organizing and teaching volunteers
to transcribe books into Braille. She
was a very generous supporter of
numerous Jewish causes.
Mrs. Biber is survived by her sons
and daughter-in-law, David Biber of
Birmingham, Daniel and Irene Biber
of Huntington Woods; daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Jack Bindes of
Bloomfield Hills; sister, Ida Jerou of
California; grandchildren, Rachel
and Berry Weiser, Gabriel Biber,
Rebecca Biber, Jennifer and Michael
Fishman, Molly and Michael
Herzoff; great-grandchildren: Caleb
Weiser, Brett Fishman, Dean
Herzoff, Drew Herzoff, Devon
Herzoff. She was the beloved wife of

the late Max Biber.

MARINA BURNS, 60, of

Hamtramck, died July 31, 2005.
She is survived by her sons, Levy
Burns of Oak Park, Darius Farkas of

BERNARD FINKEL, 98, of
Bloomfield Hills, formerly of
Philadelphia, died July 30, 2005.
He was the owner of a hardware
store.
He is survived by his son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Harold and
Nancy Finkel; grandchildren, Leslie
and Adam Finkel. He was the
beloved husband of the late Sarah
Finkel.
Interment in Pennsylvania.

Farmington Hills, died Aug. 5,

Bloomfield; brother and sister-in-
law, Hyman and Freida Gendloff of

brother-in-law, Sybil Offen and Dr.
Arthur Weinstein; mother-in-law,
Rose Weinstein. He was the dear son
of the late Max and Fannie
Gendloff; father of the late Jeffrey
Gendloff; brother of the late
Benjamin Gendloff.
