MARVIN ALPINER, 63, formerly

of Michigan of Cincinnati, Ohio,
died July 18, 2005.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Joyce Alpiner; devoted children,
Ellen and Paul Bowmann, Lisa and
Robert Rodriguez, Nicholas Maisel
and Marc Maisel; brothers and sis-
ters-in-law, Robert and Dianne
Alpiner, Donald and Susan Alpiner;
sister and brother-in-law, Linda and
Robert Schwartz; seven grandchil-
dren.

2005. She was a
licensed practical
nurse and a mem-
ber Congregation
Shaarey Zedek,
National Council of
Jewish Women and
active with Meals
on Wheels, a mem-
ber of the Detroit
Zoological Society Askenazy
and active in
Berkley schools.
Mrs. Askenazy is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa
Askenazy-Felix and Marco Felix of
Huntington Woods, Michelle and
Lawrence Carney of Ann Arbor; son,
Gershon Askenazy of Huntington
Woods; grandchildren, Rachael and
David Carney, Max and Sara Felix;
sisters and brother-in-law, Marilyn
Megdell and fiance, Steven Victor,
Judie and Marc Herstand of
Wisconsin. She was the beloved
wife of the late B. David Askenazy;
loving daughter of the late David
Chicorel and the late Sedel Chicorel.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
