was the beloved wife of the late
Michael Pruss.

IRVING ROSS, 88, of West
Bloomfield, died July 27, 2005. He
was a Holocaust survivor who came to
this country and began working for
Gunsberg Cornbeef He eventually
opened Continental
Cornbeef in Detroit on
Elizabeth. Mr. Ross spon-
sored many immigrants
from Europe after World
War II. He was a member
of Albert Einstein Lodge
of B'nai Kith and of the
Furniture Club.
Mr. Ross is survived by his wife of
60 years, Sylvia Ross of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Rochelle and Norman Greenfield of
Bloomfield Hills; son, Howard Ross of
Novi; daughter-in-law, Melinda Ross;
grandchildren, David Ross, Rachel
Ross, Lauren and David Hack, Dana
Greenfield.
