ANNE WOLFE NORBER, 87, of
Delray Beach, Fla., formerly of
Southfield, died July 25, 2005. She
was a member of Women's American
ORT, Hadassah, Zionists of America
and one of the founders of Parents
Without Partners.
Mrs. Norber is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Barry and
Barbara Wolfe of Texas, Myron and
Becky Wolfe of Texas, Joe and Denise
Norber of West Bloomfield; daughter
and son-in-law, Linda and Marvin
Glazer of West Bloomfield; daughter-
in-law, Charlene Norber of Walled
Lake; sister and brother-in-law, Rose
and Robert Slavin of Florida; grand-
children, Teri Bloomberg, Amy and
Jamie Ratliff, David and Lucinda

VERA PRUSS, 83, of Southfield, died
July 24, 2005.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Eugene and Galina
Pruss of Troy, Boris and Nataly Pruss
of West Bloomfield; sister, Sima Zagin
of Oak Park; four grandchildren. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Michael Pruss.

IRVING ROSS, 88, of West
Bloomfield, died July 27, 2005. He
was a Holocaust survivor who came to
this country and began working for
Gunsberg Cornbeef He eventually
opened Continental
Cornbeef in Detroit on
Elizabeth. Mr. Ross spon-
sored many immigrants
from Europe after World
War II. He was a member
of Albert Einstein Lodge
of B'nai Kith and of the
Furniture Club.
Mr. Ross is survived by his wife of
60 years, Sylvia Ross of West
Bloomfield; daughter and son-in-law,
Rochelle and Norman Greenfield of
Bloomfield Hills; son, Howard Ross of
Novi; daughter-in-law, Melinda Ross;
grandchildren, David Ross, Rachel
Ross, Lauren and David Hack, Dana
Greenfield.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park
