activists at Michigan State
University James Madison College
was recognized as 2005 Israel
Activists of the year at the
American Israel Public Affairs
Conference in Washington. The
group included Jennifer Bloom of
West Bloomfield, David Dworin
of Bloomfield Hills and Avi
Davidoff of West Bloomfield.
Harold Berry, businessman and
leader in the Detroit Jewish com-
munity, received
an honorary fel-
lowship from
the Hebrew
University at its
board of gover-
nors meeting.
He and his wife,
Barbara, will be
inscribed on the
Hebrew
Berry
University's Wall
of Life on
Mount Scopus. A member of the
Hebrew University Board of
Governors and AFHU's National
Board of Directors and Council of
Trustees, Berry was made an hon-
orary vice president of AFHU last
year. He and his wife have given to
the Rothberg International School,
supported the William Haber
Chair in Economics and student
scholarships and were awarded the
Scopus Award.
