Memos Honors For Two Judges Judge Gene Schnelz of the Michigan Sixth Circuit Court and Judge Kimberly Small, chief judge of the Michigan 48th District Court, will be honored by the Metropolitan Detroit Attorney Division of Israel Bonds at a din- ner 6 p.m., Thursday, June 23-, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield. - Judge Schnelz and Judge Small will each receive the State of Israel Eleanor Roosevelt Humanities Award. U.S. Schnelz Court of Appeals Judge Damon J. Keith will be the guest speaker, and he will be present- ed with the State of Israel Lifetime Achievement Small Award. Barry L. Howard and Julie A. Harold Berry, businessman and leader in the Detroit Jewish com- munity, received an honorary fel- lowship from the Hebrew University at its board of gover- nors meeting. He and his wife, Barbara, will be inscribed on the Hebrew Berry University's Wall of Life on Mount Scopus. A member of the Hebrew University Board of Governors and AFHU's National Board of Directors and Council of Trustees, Berry was made an hon- orary vice president of AFHU last year. He and his wife have given to the Rothberg International School, supported the William Haber Chair in Economics and student scholarships and were awarded the Scopus Award.
