died May 11, 2005. She was a past
president and volunteer with the
Jewish National Fund, a past presi-
dent of the Hebrew University-
Women's League for Israel and a
Zionist.
Mrs. Levin is survived by her
daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and
Michael Sklar of Chicago, Judith
and Phillip Davis of West
Bloomfield; son, Mark Levin of

HELEN MANDIBERG, 92, of
Southfield, died May 11, 2005. She
was a medical lab technician who
received her bachelor's degree from
Wayne State University and her mas-
ter's degree in biology from the
University of Michigan. She was also
active with Michigan Weavers Guild
and the Sholem Aleichem Institute.
Mrs. Mandiberg is survived by her
sons and daughter-in-law, David
Mandiberg of Auburn Hills, Dr.
Joseph and Linda Mandiberg of
Oregon, Takao Nagai of Illinois;
daughter and son-in-law, Lois and
Richard Friedland of Connecticut;
grandchildren, Rachel and Ben
Friedland, Michael and Stephen
Mandiberg. For 65 years, she was
the beloved wife of the late Dr. Jack
Mandiberg.
