Lizzie is an honor student at
Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. She has volun-
teered at Yad Ezra in Berkley and will
be making contributions to several
charities.

Chandler Morgan Billes will be called
to the Torah to celebrate her bat mitz-
vah Saturday, May 14, at Temple
Beth El. She is the daughter of
Marsha and Mitchell Billes and older
sister of Cameron. Proud grandpar-
ents are Johanna
and Jack Wayne,
Phyllis and Bruce
Billes.
Chandler is an
honor student at
West Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
As part of her
mitzvah projects, she volunteered for
Meals on Wheels and helped distrib-
ute food at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Taylor Elyse Chimoff will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah Saturday,
May 14, at Congregation Beth
Shalom. Sharing in this special occa-
sion will be her parents, Cookie and
Bart Chimoff, and her sister Cortney.
Proud grandparents
are Shirlee Bloom-
Feroni and Minna
and Sam Chimoff.
She is also the
granddaughter of
the late Anthony
Feroni and the late
Ida Chimoff.
Taylor is a sev-
enth-grade honor
student at Norup
Middle School in Oak Park. Included
in her mitzvah projects are volunteer-
ing at E.L. Johnson Nature Camp in
Bloomfield Hills, visiting senior citi-
zens at American House, preparing
and serving meals during Homeless
Week at Beth Shalom and collecting
money for distribution to Jewish
organizations throughout Michigan.

Hannah Jean Cohen, daughter of
Margaret (Peggy) and Steven Cohen,
will become a bat mitzvah when she is
called to read the Torah at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield Saturday, May 14. Also
participating in the service will be

Hannah is also the
grandchild of the
late Harry C.
Cohen and the late
Charles and Jean
Pierce.
Hannah is a dou-
ble honor student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. As a
mitzvah project, she and two friends
made beaded bracelets to sell and
donated the proceeds to Magen David
Adom. Her other mitzvah projects
include volunteering at Camp
Betman, a JARC group home and the
Hillel Dor EDor program at
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield.

Eliana Danielle Fenyes will celebrate
her bat mitzvah as she reads from the
Torah on Saturday, May 14, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center. She
is the daughter of
Shelley and Peter
Fenyes and the sis-
ter of Aaron.
Sharing in the sim-
chah will be her
grandfather Oscar
Trager. She is also
the granddaughter
of the late Muriel
Trager and the late
Alice and Gabor Fenyes.
Eliana is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at Birmingham Covington
School. For her mitzvah projects she
volunteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley
and at Congregation Shaarey Zedek.

Alexander Ian Frank, son of Mary
and Bryant Frank and brother of
William, will be called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah Saturday, May 14, at
Temple Israel. His proud grandpar-
ents are Hazel and Harry
Archambault and Beverly Frank. He is
also the grandchild of the late William
S. Frank, and the
great-grandson of
the late Ethel and
Seymour Frank and
the late Ida and
Raymond
Archambault.
Attending
Walnut Creek
Middle School in
Walled Lake, Alex
chose to help as a babysitter at Temple
