wife of the late Irving Gold; sister of
the late Belle Fealk and the late Eva
Lang; grandmother of the late Todd
Loren.

STEPHANIE HELMAN, 47, of
Merritt Island, Fla., died April 3,
2005.
She is survived by her devoted, lov-
ing husband, Steven Heiman, formerly
of Huntington Woods; beloved chil-
dren, Michael, Alyza, Natalee; mother,
Berry Holbrook; mother-in-law and
father-in-law, Shirlye Heiman and
Peter Heiman of West Bloomfield;
brothers, David Holbrook of Owosso,

Bloomfield Hills, died April 10, 2005.
He grew up in northwest Detroit and
attended Mumford High School,
Wayne State University and the
Illinois College of Optometry. He
practiced his profession for over 35
years, providing care to numerous
inner-city, low-income residents. Dr.
Levine WaS also an art collector. His
collection was rooted in American art
of the 1930s and 1940s. More recent-
ly, he developed an interest in African
American art pieces.
Dr. Levine is survived by his beloved
wife, Rhonda Levine; daughter, Carli
Levine of W Hollywood, Calif.;
mother, Betty Levine of Southfield;
sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and
William Lipton of West Bloomfield;
brothers-in-law, Stephen Levine and
Stuart (Susan Feigenson) Levine. He
was the dear son of the late Elkan
Levine.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be

SYBIL MERVIS, 88, former Detroiter
of Las Vegas, Nev., died April 11,
2005.
She was the wife of the late Ben
Mervis. She is survived by nieces,
Arlene Goldberg, Lori Passerman,
Myra Berkovits; nephews, Michael
Passerman and Jerome Rosen.
MORRIS POLLACK, 90, of Berkley,
died April 9, 2005.
He is survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Rochelle and Robert Baker
of Berkley; son, Kenneth Pollack;
grandchildren, Amy Pollack and
Jamison Pollack; great-grandson,
Michael. He was the beloved husband
of the late Esther Pollack; brother of
the late Yetta Weinstein and the late
Ellen Woll.
Interment at the Nusach Hari

Rose Gisler of Waterford; brother and
sister-in-law, Izzy and Ruth Wilder of

Wasser, Marc (Sara) Wasser; great-

FRED RAZNICK, 82, of West
Bloomfield, died April 3, 2005. Prior
to retirement in 1984, he was the
owner of Crown Pickle, which merged
