GILDA RADNER.
This documentary promises to be
something special since Silver was
the director of two of the best
Jewish-themed films of all time
(Crossing Delancey and Hester Street).
Also appearing at the benefit was
the very funny JUDY GOLD who,
Ingall said, "killed" with this line: "I
had a yeast infection during Passover
and wasn't allowed to attend the
seder."

Odd Todd

Frankly, director TODD
SOLONDTs films are so quirky
that I wait for the DVD so I can
absorb them at my own pace.
His new flick, Palindromes, cur-
rently scheduled to open May 6 at
the Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak,
isn't exactly Disney Channel fare.
The lead character, Aviva, whose
name is a palindrome (same back-
wards as forwards), comes from a
middle-class Jewish family (her
. mother is played by ELLEN
BARIUM. Aviva succeeds in her
ish to have a baby at 13, thus
causing a break with her family.
Aviva — ready? — is played by
.several different actresses represent-
ing different stages of the character's
life — including an overweight
black actress and the always interest-
ing (and Jewish) JENNIFER

Standard Federal Bank

ABN AMR°

The Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) on Standard Federal Bank's Home Equity Lines of Credit are tied to Prime. Prime is the highest Prime Rate as published in the "Money Rates" section of The Wall Street
Journal on the last publishing day of the calendar month immediately preceding the billing cycle. The margin tied to Prime varies and depends on the approved credit line amount and combined loan-to-value.

APRs disclosed above assume a combined loan-to-value of 80% or less. On February 28, 2005, Prime was 5.50% and the APR on Standard Federal Bank's Home Equity Line of Credit products varied between
4.75% and 8.50%. Prime is a variable rate; as it changes, the APR on your account will change. The maximum APR is 21 %. A balloon payment will result at the end of the ten-year draw period. The Home Equity
Lines are limited to owner-occupied, 1-4 family principal residences and are subject to no less than a second lien position on your property. You must carry insurance on the property that secures this loan. Flood
insurance required if necessary. There is a S50 annual fee after the first year unless you are a member of Credit Exclusives. Consult your tax advisor concerning the deductibility of interest. Closing costs C .),
paid by Standard Federal Bank are limited to appraisal, title insurance, flood certification and recording fees. Any additional fees or conditions imposed by the city, state or county that the subject property
reMDER
is located in will be the borrower's responsibility. The APRs are subject to change without notice. Member FDIC. 02005 Standard Federal Bank N.A.
