Joshua Adam Lipshaw will celebrate
his bar mitzvah Saturday, March 12, at
Temple Israel. His parents are Suzanne
and Marc Lipshaw. Sharing in the sim-
chah will be his

Lipshaw.
Attending Walnut
Creek Middle
School in Walled
Lake, where he is an
honor student, Joshua assisted at Temple
Israel during the feeding of the homeless
in addition to volunteering at Habitat
for Humanity as part of his mitzvah
projects.
Michael Aaron Lourie will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
March 12, at Congregation B'nai
Moshe. He is the son of Judy and Ira
Lourie and brother
of Elliot. Proud
grandparents are
Helen and Klaus
Hess of Florida.
Michael is an
honor student in the
seventh grade at
Warner Middle
School in
Farmington Hills.
He worked on several mitzvah projects,

her mitzvah projects, she donated to the
Make-A-Wish Foundation, participated
at Eretz Yisrael Day at Temple Israel and
volunteered at Gleaners Food Bank.
