DAVID HAROLD ROSE, 73, of
Windsor, died Feb. 12, 2005.
Mr. Rose and his father built Rose
Bowl Lanes in Windsor in 1959. It
became the site of many U.S. and
Canadian bowling events. He brought
the Professional Bowlers Tour to
Windsor in the 1980s and was induct-
ed into the Windsor-Essex County 10-
Pin Bowling Association Hall of Fame
in 1988.
Mr. Rose is survived by his wife,
Kathleen; daughters and son-in-law,
Wendy and Gary Bice of Bloomfield
Hills, Michelle Rose of Toronto; step-
daughter Wendy (Steven) Hayes;
grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob and
Emily Bice and Sarah and Brian
Schulte; sisters, Mae Seretsky, Dr.
Dolly Goldenberg, Joyce Rose; and
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Michael
(Millie) Rose.
