In 1654, 23 Jews fleeing Recife, Brazil landed in New Amsterdam
{New York). Now, a compelling national exhibit — a project of the

Commission for Commemorating 350 Years ofAmerican Jewish
,Ifistoly* — has been created to honor this milestone anniversary.

For more information

The Cincinnati exhibit will feature over 300 iconic treasures of
Judaica Americana from the collections of the Commission partners
as well as items on loan from individuals and organizations from
throughout the Midwest.
