Gomberg. She was the beloved wife of
the late Henry J. Gomberg.

EILEEN ISRAEL, 93, of Walled Lake,

died Jan. 14, 2005. A retired executive
secretary for Jewish Federation of
Metro Detroit she was also an active
member of Workmen's Circle and a
past president of the Louis Marshall
Chapter of B'nai B'rith.
Mrs. Israel is survived by her daugh-
ter, Nancy Jean Grossman of Walled
Lake; grandchildren, Alissa Nell Seim
and John Seim; brother and sisters-in-
law, Irving and Fan Hencken, Martha
Hencken. She was the beloved wife of
the late Robert
Israel; the devot-
ed mother-in-law
of the late Arnold
Grossman; the
loving sister of
the late Bernard
Hencken and the
late Jack
Hencken.
