Rami Budow (Rachmiel Levi) of
Mod'in, Israel, formerly of Ann
Arbor, will become a bar mitzvah in
Ein Gedi, Israel, Saturday, Nov. 27.
He is the son of
Dr. Maurice and
Carolyn Budow
and the late Gwen
Daneman Budow.
He is the big
brother of Jonah,
Elianna, Ilan and
Yanev. Very proud
grandparents are
Elaine Friedman of
West Bloomfield and Dr. and Mrs.
Jack Budow of New York City. Rami
is also the grandson of the late
Raymond Daneman.
Several friends and relatives from
the United States will attend the sim-
chah along with Israeli family and
friends.

Jason Alexander Dovitz will become a
bar mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 27, at
Adat Shalom Synagogue. He is the
son of Cliff and Sheryl Dovitz and
brother of Erica. Proud grandmothers
are Annette
Neuvirth and
Annette Dovitz. He
is also the grandson
of the late Morris
Neuvirth and the
late Joe Dovitz.
Jason is an honor
student at Walnut
Creek Middle
School in Walled
Lake. His mitzvah projects included
participating in Havdalah services
with JARC residents and in the West
Bloomfield Community Fame Games.

Elizabeth "Bethany" Ann Friedman
will read from the Torah during
Havdalah services Saturday,
November 27, at Temple Israel. Her
parents are Pam and Dr. Neil
Friedman. She is the sister of Joshua
and Nathaniel. Her grandparents are
Lillian and Joseph
Friedman and Rhea
Gordon. She is also
the grandchild of
the late Norman
Gordon.
Bethany attends
West Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
She grew her hair
and donated it to Locks of Love and
also worked at a soup kitchen as part
of her mitzvah projects.
