died Oct. 6, 2004.

son-in-law, Shirley and Joel Robbins
of Anaheim, Calif.; many cousins and
dear friends.

SARAH NICHAMIN FISHMAN,
94, of Southfield, died Oct. 9, 2004.
She was a special
education teacher
with a master's
degree in special
education from th e
University of
Michigan.
Mrs. Fishman is
survived by her
daughter-in-law,
Fishman
Bunny Nickamin;
grandchildren,
Jodi Silverman, Brad and Tamara Jaffe
David and Angie Nickamin, Aaron
Nickamin, Adam Nickamin, Andy
Mondry; great-grandchildren, Blake,
Emma Rose, Simon, Graham,
Hayden, Elijah, Michael and Karissa;
sisters, Adele Fuerst of Southfield,
Edith Jaye of West Bloomfield; broth-
er, Fred Alzofon. She was the beloved
wife of the late Larry Nichamin and
the late Nathan "Pappy" Fishman;
devoted mother of the late Gail Jaffe;
loving grandmother of the late Leah
Mondry; dear sister of the late Esther
Olen.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Children's Hospital of
Michigan or to a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

HERBERT HAROLD
GENENDLIS, 73, former Detroiter
of Tampa, Fla., died Sept. 30, 2004.
He was a retired master sergeant in the
U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Genendlis is survived by is com-
panion, Barbara Gordon; daughters
and sons-in-law, Karen Marie
Genendlis of California, Victoria Ann
and Mark Cumings of Washington,
