She was a special
education teacher
with a master's
degree in special
education from th e
University of
Michigan.

sisters, Adele Fuerst of Southfield,
Edith Jaye of West Bloomfield; broth-
er, Fred Alzofon. She was the beloved
wife of the late Larry Nichamin and
the late Nathan "Pappy" Fishman;
devoted mother of the late Gail Jaffe;
loving grandmother of the late Leah
Mondry; dear sister of the late Esther
Olen.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Children's Hospital of
Michigan or to a charity of one's

HERBERT HAROLD
GENENDLIS, 73, former Detroiter
of Tampa, Fla., died Sept. 30, 2004.
He was a retired master sergeant in the
U.S. Marine Corps.
