Mario Cuomo
to Israel:
You're killing us

Mario Cuomo inferred that
Israeli actions in the Middle
East were the reasons that ter-
rorists attacked and continue
to threaten the United States.
Cuomo said America should
tell Israel, "Up until now it was
just you and the Palestinians killing each
other — now you are killing us." (New Haven
Register, 4/16/04) Unfortunately, comments
like these are nothing new for Cuomo. He
opposed the Gulf War, saying we should
offer Sadaam Hussein "a little bit of Kuwait."

Democratic Party
Organizations
Condemn Israel

In Washington, the King County
Democratic Party added anti-Israel state-
ments to its platform. One statement voted
into the platform was a commitment "to
withhold U.S. tax dollars from Israel while it
is in violation of international law." (Seattle

Times, 5/09/04)

In Maine, the state Democratic Party
passed an anti-Israel resolution. The Maine
Democratic Party attacked Israel for denying
Palestinians the right of self-determination
