A SAD PATTERN HAS EMERGED
Blamin • Jews for the War
Senator Fritz Hollings
With American forces in Iraq battling terrorists, United
States Senator Fritz Hollings wrote that the war in Iraq
was motivated by President Bush's desire to secure the
votes of American Jews and advanced by Jewish officials
and leaders (Charleston Post and Courier, 5/06/04). Sadly,
Hollings also compared Israeli Prime Minister Ariel
Sharon to Iraqi dictator Sadaam Hussein (Senate Floor,
5/02/02).
Congressman Jim Moran said, "If it were not for the
strong support of the Jewish community for this war with
Iraq, we would not be doing this." (3/03/2003, Reston, VA)
Congressman Jim Moran
These comments are more than wrong,
they're outrageous. They're despicable.
Pandering to Anti-Israel Audiences
Appearing before an anti-Israel Arab organization, Senator John
Kerry incredibly questioned Israel's right to defend itself from terror-
ists by condemning Israel's construction of a security fence and
calling it "a barrier to peace." No wonder the President of the
Arab organization called Kerry "the star of their conference."
(Arab American Institute National Leadership Conference, 10/17/03)
Senator John Kerry
Kerry has even called Yasser Arafat a "statesman." Kerry called Arafat
a statesman despite Arafat's past and continued support for terrorists
who have killed both Americans and Israelis (The New War by John
Kerry, 1997).
Moral Equivalency Between
Israel and Terrorists
Howard Dean
Howard Dean called for changing Americis pro-Israel policy to a
more balanced approach to Palestinian terrorists and Israel and said,
"There is a war going on in the Middle East and members of
HAIvIAS are soldiers in that war." (CNN, 9/09/03)
ON SENATOR
HOLLINGS:
"This is reminiscent
of age-old, anti-
Semitic canards
about a Jewish con-
spiracy to control
and manipulate
government."
Foxman further
stated, "To hear
such crudeness,
such ugliness,
such classical anti-
Semitism. It's sad."
— ABRAHAM FOXMAN
Director of the
Anti-Defamation League

No Gov. Dean, they aren't soldiers; they are terrorists.
Former President Carter criticized President Bush for making
no effort to try to have a balanced negotiating position
between Israel and Palestinians." (Houston Chronicle, 4/09/04)
Carter has been wrong on Israel for so many years, and he is
wrong now President Carter, you should know that there
is no negotiating with terrorists.
