We Get Questions

Q : When we received an audiotape of my mother's

funeral, my daughter asked if videotapes of funerals
are ever made. I did not know the answer, but told
her I would ask.

LILLIAN TOLCHIN, 83, of Oak

A: We do not have video equipment at this time.

We did, however, videotape one funeral many years
ago. A young girl was killed tragically in a car
accident. Her mother had also been in the car and
was in a coma in Intensive Care, but likely to
recover. We videotaped the funeral and burial, so she
would have some sense of closure later since she not
only was unaware of what happened, but was unable
to attend.
