2004. She was the vice president for
Acordia Insurance Company, where
she worked for 35 years. She was
also a vice president of Michigan
Orchid Society, a docent at the
Detroit Zoo, a past president at Oak
Park Hadassah and was a graduate of
Michigan State University with a
teaching degree in family child
development.
Mrs. Meldman is survived by her
husband, Leonard Meldman; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Lauri
Mendelsohn and Daniel Dunn of
Lansing; son and daughter-in-law,
Scott and Karen Mendelsohn of
Orchard Lake; grandchildren, Annie
and Theodore Harrison, Heather
