HERMAN KAZDAN, 93, of

Southfield, died Sept. 13, 2004. He
was an attendance officer for the
Detroit Public Schools and a past
president of Tikvah Lodge of B'nai
B'rith. He was also a member of the
Detroit Teachers Association.
Mr. Kazdan is
survived by his
children, Jerry
Kazdan and
Alice Fialowski
of Philadelphia,
Pa., Rita and
Jerry Neff of
Bloomfield Hills,
Sabra Shekter of
Farmington
Kazdan
Hills, Fern Prag
of West
Bloomfield, Lowell Prag of Detroit;
grandchildren, Howard and Beth
Neff, Kevin and Jodi Neff, Gayle
and Darrin Elias, Melinda Fialowski,
Reka Fialowski; great-grandchildren,
Michelle Neff, Adam Neff, Andrew
Neff, Allison Neff, Emily Neff,
Alissa Neff, Zachary Neff, Matthew
Elias, Joshua Elias, Marlee Elias;
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Louis
and Alta Kazdan. He was the
beloved husband of the late Dorothy
Prag Kazdan and the late Mollie
Kazdan; devoted brother of the late
Samuel Kazdan, the late Dr. Morris
Kazdan and the late Tillie Sturman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice.
