of them might have had.
Eleanor and Sandy have been
friends since youngsters ... Leonard
and Marty since the ninth grade ...
and all were students at Detroit's
Mumford High.
It will be no coincidence though
when, come October, the two cou-
ples journey to New York to corn-
memorate their August simchas
And, say Eleanor and Sandy, the
closest they will get to a fish will be
on a plate beside a glass of cham-
pagne at some select candlelit restau-
rant.
UNBELIEVABLE AS IT may
seem, the output of fish at Giorgio's
Gourmet Diner in West Bloomfield's
Sugar Tree must put it by far as the
biggest seller of fish by an 80-seat
restaurant ... Whitefish alone is
about 3,000 pounds a month; ruby
red trout almost 1,500 pounds a
month; and salmon around 800
pounds a month ... That's an uncan-
ny total of more than 5,000 pounds
of fish a month!
CONGRATS ... to Elaine and
Earle Mostyn on their 45th anniver-
sary.
THEY MARVEL AS General
Motors continues each year to
upgrade their automobiles ... As
management employees at GM, both
are responsible for much of the
major innovations ... Frank Stanek is
a project manager and wife, Jennifer,
is a design engineer.
But a more personal claim to
notoriety is in their culinary prowess
... Both are quite adept at designing
food and menus too for their own
private parties.
ANSWER DEPT. ... Beans &
Cornbread on Northwestern
Highway in Southfield is still owned
by Patrick Coleman ... The one he
sold with the same name was B&C
number two on Eight Mile Road in
Southfield.
Owner Todd Stern knows his
Small Plates in Detroit is too small
and has plans to enlarge his success-
ful restaurant ... He is also looking
for a spot to open a second like
operation, maybe in the Northwest
area.
SEE YOU AT the Walk of Ages,
this Sunday morning, Aug. 29 ... on
the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum
Jewish Community Campus at
Maple and Drake in West
Bloomfield ... Being its grand mar-
shal this year is an honor.

We also want to make mention about your wonderful staff. Sue Belzer was just a joy to work with. She was so
helpful and kind and a true professional. She went out of her way to make us happy; nothing was too much trou-
ble or too difficult for her to do. She guided us through the decision making process and made certain that we
made the right choices. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job. She was always willing to go the extra

mile to make us happy, and she did that very well.
We also want to acknowledge your excellent chef, Al Kovelenko. His presentations were excellent and the quali-
ty and taste of his food were truly a dining experience. In addition to this, he made a special effort to introduce
himself to our guests and inquire as to how they were enjoying their meals. We, and our guests, were very
impressed with his talents and his concern for our satisfaction. He is a true professional and a wonderful chef.

In conclusion, we just want to say that, with the team of you, Jeffrey, Sue and Al, there was no doubt that our
party would be a tremendous success! Everything was perfect and we were/ARE so happy with our daughter's
wedding party at Adat Shalom! We are looking forward to working with all of you again next summer (July 3,
for our other daughter's wedding. We're sure it will be as wonderful as was this one!
