Boys and girls were happy as larks
when Dora the Explorer made a visit
to the Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield July 14. Her
Nickelodeon TV show Dora the
Explorer is the No. 1 preschool pro-
gram on commercial television.

Dora, who speaks Spanish and
English, regularly takes fun adventures
with her pal Boots, the monkey.
(Fortunately, she didn't meet up with
Swiper the Fox, though, while at the
JCC.) She stopped by the Center
before her upcoming performances at
the Fox Theater.
Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the
City of Lost Toys runs at the Fox July
28-Aug. 1. Tickets are $19.50-$40.50
at the Fox Theatre box office or
through Ticketmaster. ❑
