Society in New York, where the
Rosses kept a second home. She
taught classes in decorative arts at
the Henry Ford Museum in
Dearborn and in her community. An
excellent seamstress, she made her
own clothes, quilts, decorative pil-
lows, purses and jewelry.
Mrs. Ross supported several chari-
ties for animals and belonged to the
Free Thinkers Society, American
Sewing Guild, American Ceramic
Circle and the Neighborhood
Artisans Sewing Group.
Mrs. Ross is survived by her
beloved husband, Donald H. Ross;
children, David (Lucia), Serena
Crisan (Douglas), Matthew; daugh-
ter-in-law, Suzanne; grandchildren,
Drew, Zachary and Stephanie
Crisan, Natalie and Julian Ross;
brother and sister-in-law, Michael
and Lynne Hirschelman; sister-in-
law and brother-in-law, Jane and Dr.
Richard Ruzumna. She was the lov-
ing mother of the late Peter.
A private memorial will be held.
Contributions may be made to the
Humane Society of Michigan.
SIMA RUKHMAN, 90, of Oak
Park, died June 9, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Klara and Semen
Perchanok of Oak Park; grandchil-
dren, Anna and Leonid Beznosov,
Leonid Perchanok; great-grandchil-
dren, Ilana, Gershon. She was the
beloved wife of the late Abraham
Shwartz; loving mother of the late
Izrael Shwartz.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park.

HERSCH UNGER, 79, of West
Bloomfield, died May 27, 2004. He
was born in Makow
Mazowiecki,
Poland, and was a
Holocaust survivor.
At age 14, he fled
his hometown
when the Germans
