A GREAT MIRACLI

C.

Ahavah BBG displays its first place banner at
the opening competition of RC 2003.
Themed, "Michigan Region Celebrates The
Great Miracle Which Happened Here," the
banner focused on the miracle of life and
quoted Genesis 2:9: "And from the ground
G-d made every kind of tree pleasing to
sight - the Tree of Life."

Ruach BBG showed their prowess in
winning the hard-fought BBG Volleyball
Tournament at Regional Convention.
These girls were good!

Everyone had a great time at ISF Bingo, held
the first afternoon of RC at West Bloomfield
Whirlyball. Close to $300 was raised at RC from
both ISF Bingo and the Council ISF lotteries.

Dora Savage BBG ended their act,
"Remember The Titans," with a flourish at
the annual Regional Convention Talent
Show at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.

Eric Hoffman (center), AZA Council Aleph
Godol, worked hard with the rest of his
chapter on their splendid act, "B'tzelem
Elohim," which had singing, dancing, and
lots of action. By the way, it was another
first place for Evan Shapiro AZA.

"Success has many fathers" and here are all
the guys of Evan Shapiro AZA celebrating
their second consecutive victory as Most
Distinguished AZA Chapter for Regional
Convention 2003.

The winner's circle was no stranger to the
girls of Achayot BBG, who won their third
consecutive crown as Most Distinguished
BBG Chapter at Regional Convention 2003.

The final day of convention was graced by a
tough AZA and BBG Oratory competition.
Seven AZA's and seven BBG's competed, using
a nationally-set topic. AZA L to R: Jason
Weiner, Rabin AZA; Bowen Vernan,
Greenberg AZA; Andrew Becker, Marx AZA;
Zach Yost, Kishon AZA; Eric Dropkin, Jolson
AZA; Eric Hoffman, Shapiro AZA; and Mike
Epstein, Kitzoni AZA. Eric Hoffman won the
event. BBG L to R: Stephanie Levy, Koach
BBG; Becca Targan, Ruach BBG; Lisa Buch,
Savage BBG; Madison Chomsky, Genesis BBG;
Rebecca Mansfield, Ahavah BBG, Leah
Schloss, Graham BBG; and Whitney
Aidenbaum, Achayot BBG. Madison Chomsky
